For Nina Park, nail art is all about empowerment. Originally from Orange County, California, Nina now lives in Boston where she works full-time as a high school English teacher and spends her free time killing it as a Boston Derby Dame, surfing, and of course, doing her nails.
Nina’s art is most often inspired by the beach, fashion, and texture. To her, the beauty of nail art is that you can put anything you love on your nails, and then change it as often as you like. No matter what else is going on, Nina always makes time for her art because the simple act of looking down and seeing something beautiful on her nails, makes her instantly happy. It’s a small but significant pleasure, that makes all the difference.
